Though GMRC UK is not a business, we do have costs associated with the distribution of our larvae for research purposes. These are currently set at: 

• Academic partners - £1/larva + postage (Royal Mail First Class/Special Delivery available)
• Collaborative projects - Free (with the requirement of appropriate authorships on any resultant publications; or the view to be included in upcoming grant proposals)

We are also able  to help you set up your own GMRC UK satellite colony:

• Colony set up fee - £1,000 (includes training in person at Exeter, rearing handbook and regular shipments of larvae until colony established. We can complete training at the recipient organisation if travel is covered).
